The audience pleasures are offered by the BLACKPINK - 'How You Like that' video by apealing

to them in the use of mixing the korean culture and the american culture to be able to include more people and adding a mix of hip hop , edm and trap beats



3) Pick out three particular shots, scenes or moments in the video that would particularly appeal to BLACKPINK fans. Why did you choose those moments? 

I chose this particular scene as i found the choreography in this moment to be very appealing with the funky beat in the song


I picked this scene from the music video because the i found the beat at the beginning very calm and i really liked the fashion as it sticked out to me in a positive way


i have also picked this shot from the music video as the fashion with the background gave of a very much girl boss vibe which i found to be really cool and unique

The 'How You Like That' music video was promoted to the audience through Social Media like YouTube

k-pop is so popular thanks to its catchy melodies , choreography and fashion

BLACKPINK has formed by YG Entertainment by holding tryouts for teens and pre-teens to create a debut and they have beat records such as becoming the first female kpop group to win the MTV rewards and have reached 1 billion streams on spotify for how you like that , the video broke many YouTube records, including most-watched premiere , most views within 24 hours for a music video 
and fastest video to achieve 100, 200 and 600 million views.

There are other successful artists that were under YG Entertainment such as PSY , 2NE1 and BIGBANG

Technology and the internet have changed the way the audience consumes music videos by becoming more accesible to everyone due to social media and apps


4) How do BLACKPINK and K-pop show that the media and music industries are now global?

Blackpink, a 4-member group by YG Entertainment is one great example of the beginning of the globalization of K-pop. Three out of the four members can speak a foreign language and most importantly, one of the members was born and raised in thailand making her the only non-korean member of BLACKPINK

The content that requires warnings are bad language, dangerous behaviour presented as safe, drug misuse, sexual behaviour and nudity, and threatening behaviour and violence.
